Dear all bored folks~

Are you currently living in Korea? If so, we're interested in knowing what's up with your romantic life. I've created a quick survey to record whatever dating victories or disasters you'll feel like spilling away Wink

Fill it out for a chance to win a Starbucks gift card! You could use another coffee, right? http://goo.gl/AMW1RJ

Many of you guys have shared on the forums that things are wonderful in Korea! If you've got an extra few minutes, let us know how things actually are for you.

What will the results be used for? I'll first do some gawking and then I'll publish them eventually. Then perhaps people can see what it's really like on the ground in a meaningful way.

Golly gee whiz! That sounds like a great offer. But where are you going to publish these tales of trials and tribulations exactly?

I've sent you my video, sorry it's only three minutes long, but it's hard for me to last much longer than that.

I have to say, I've never seen a Korean guy with a chunky big white girl. The couples I know are all really pretty, attractive ladies married to professional guys. Maybe I don't get out enough though, I would like to know if it ever happens. Right? I think the vast majority of Korean guys don't dig the big booty at all. The funniest thing to see is a fit, thin soldier walking arm in arm with a whale plastered with tattoos. Very Happy You see it every day on military bases.

Where I work, there are 99% big big big women. The American government pays them well so they eat like tomorrow won't come. The worst is at the Chinese buffets. They go nuts. But then again, so does my wife. But she only weighs 98 pounds.

Thanks for the interest in my "romantic life". Although not currently living in Korea, I have 'experience' with the ladies there.

I don't drink coffee, so I'm less inclined to share. What else do you have to offer?

Always been curious about this one as it truly does seem like the rule rather than the exception.

Any guesses?

So far I have:

A) Guy was also fat, joined military and lost weight in basic training
B) All guys that join the military are chubby chasers
C) Military bases in the states are usually out in the middle of nowhere, poor people tend to live in the middle of nowhere, poor people tend to be fatter, thus no other women to choose from for military boys living at these bases

I'm leaning towards C... but really I have no clue

Seoulnate, I thought all those things too. Then someone I trust completely told me that the reason behind this is hiding in plain sight: LOYALTY. The "hot wife" ratio of in the military is directly related to the length of your deployment divided by the number of men she will sleep with.

TLDR: the real big ugly ones don't cheat when you're downrange..

They may not dig the big booty but they definitely dig the white horse. Equestrianship trumps size requirements.

Wow, what a heteronormative survey. I guess that's to be expected though.
