For goodness sakes man. Im as big an apologist and a thread dominator as anyone but at least try and make some points. At least those guys will argue an issue, more or less. Now threads are just degenerating into personal duels.
Between KN and cmxc, things have descended from 'Crossfire' to talk radio. Actually thats too harsh to talk radio. |

Oh I agree, this is already discussed on a separate thread. But it's confusing, because there are about 10 threads simultaneously discussing KimchiNinja, his salary, career, ethnicity, age, sexual orientation, etc. I have already answered these questions, so there is nothing left to discuss, you would think.
I would like to hit around 1 in 2 posts with a point (1.0 info/troll ratio). These days I do about 1 in 10. The 1 post is great, and then there 9 posts responding to all the idiots who said something trollish and dumb to my original highly-intelligent and insightful post. They lose this duel, cry to momma, and troll all my future intelligent posts, thereby things deteriorate to a 1 in 50 quality/noise ratio with time. Then they cry about the deterioration of the forum too. 
As I let them know on the other thread, they can stop doing that any time they want. I draw sword and lop off heads only after some fool draws first. Given the number of heads lying on the ground it would seem unwise to draw first. That stick in my hand isn't for roasting marshmallows. 
Perhaps we need a treaty? |

If you think that there's some other agenda, for instance dominating men, you're mistaken, and are thinking about radical, militant feminists, which is like equating all Christians to the Westboro Baptist Church. |

Feminism = equal rights. That must be good, clear easy call right? Thumbs up!? Anyone who questions this must be an ignorant fool and sexist!?
Being a reality-based thinking person things do not seem so clear, to me. For example I see women entering the work force as largely a tactic by the 1% to double the amount of slaves while driving down wages and increases cost of living. It then becomes necessary for both parents to work, just to make ends meet. Was this "feminism winning rights for women", or was was this "feminism employed cunningly by the upper class in increase income inequality"?
Equal rights? You mean equal opportunity, or you mean forcing equal equal hiring and equal pay even when men are more qualified and outperform on the job? Because the later is happening in the USA. And that impacts men.
And man-hate is everywhere in societies where feminism happened, yet absent in societies like Korea. Look at what just happened to the MSFT CEO for opening his mouth at some feminist convention. It's mainstream everyday corporate-American mass-media stuff, not some wacko cult.
And finally, what was the whole point of feminism? Was the idea that it would make women happier? After the experiment happened, did anyone actually go check to see if that was the result? Because I check. The quants at Wharton say it was not the result...
