Id say
looks
pay expectation
whether or not youre already in korea
maybe experience a little bit.
I have an Englrish accent, and while it may not have been desirable before, everyone thinks youre Benedict Cumberpatch now, so it wins you points.
The other stuff is just crap they say in job adverts most of the time. |

If you are in Korea and do not need visa sponsorship, having a pulse and being friendly are probably the most important factors.
If that does not apply then age, experience and looks are the most important. |

When you guys say "looks," is there a specific look? Or a specific race or gender? Or is it just being attractive in general? |

These are the least important in Korea.

Assuming it's not a first year chain hagwon position, then good references. |

Being tall is good. Blond hair, blue eyes, white skin. Not being ugly. Not being bald. Not being fat. Being someone the boss could 'market' to the student mothers.

For most of the jobs I've interviewed for, the most important factors are:
- Experience
- Education
- Interview/Personalty
Skin color, height, gender, attractiveness, and age are not factors at all. |
