Yeah, it could be a troll. But it's not far off reality, either. I believe this shit could happen to some poor, unlucky sucker. |

You have a point. I worked with several clowns at various schools, and sometimes, on really bad days, I felt like a clown myself. |

Troll or not there are some cases of this happening. I spoke with a hogwon worker in Incheon who was required to dress up like Santa and sit in the back of a truck driving around town waving to people on the street.
I'm sure there was nothing in his contract about that. |

| I knew a few people who worked at an English Village. They said they sometimes had to wear costumes. I can see it happening. The boss might have gotten the idea from an English Village. |

Oh come on, wearing a clown costume to teach English in a Korean hagwan is the equivalent of someone putting on a black mask and stripey jumper to commit burglary. He'll be telling us the boss is insisting that 'dancing around like a monkey' be added to his terms and conditions of service next.
Just because he told everyone he isn't a troll doesn't mean he isn't a troll you know. |

I was once told I wasnt allowed to move away from the classroom window so that people would always see me (whilst at work).
I was also instructed by the same school to walk around the local supermarket/shopping mall with a selection of children for 4 days straight. |

It reminds me of the time Wonderland handed me and two other male co-workers three dresses and a blonde wig and said, "Here's your Halloween outfits."
I'd wear the clown outfit as long as the pay has been accurate and on time. But it's not worthwhile to learn how to juggle. Trying to juggle, dropping pins, and falling down trying to catch them will make the kids laugh more than juggling. It'll be good for only one Friday. By the second time around, it'll already be stale/lame. |
