I'd like to start a thread on good Vietnamese restaurants in Korea.
I'll start the ball rolling. I went to this nice place called Pho Hanoi Xua (퍼 하노이 스어) near Jonggak Station in Seoul and it's great. The owner and chefs are Vietnamese from Hanoi, with the former a naturalized Korean citizen. It recently moved spots in the same building but the food is quite good and a refreshing break from the awful crap I've gotten at the chains like Hoa Sen and Hoa Bin.

The place in Wangsimni in the basement foodcourt. I'm not sure it even has a name....
Ansan is a Southeast Asian foodie wonderland! |

There's a place in Hapjeong that always has a sizable line outside. Could be because it was on TV or maybe it's that good (probably the former).
I quite like Le Saigon in Gyungridan. |

Wangsimni- Pho Little Vietnam
Taking from a blog found online:
Line 2, Come out of exit 2 of Wangsimni station and walk straight for about 200 meters until you see an alley on the left by an S-Oil gas station. Enter that alley and walk about 100 meters until you see the Chereville residential building on your right. Pho Little Vietnam is located in the building's first floor food court, towards the back.
Hapjeongs - Little Papa Pho
Line 2, Hapjeon Station, exit 6. Walk until you reach the first intersection (Nonghyup bank) Take a left, and then another left. You will see a red vietnamese tuktuk style bike. |
