S. Korea to Grant Telephone Numbers for Internet Calls From Sept.
SEOUL, May 19 (Yonhap) -- South Korea will grant 10-digit telephone numbers for Internet-based phone calls starting in September, paving the way for the new technology to make serious inroads here, a government official said Wednesday.
The Ministry of Information and Communication said it will allow Internet telephone service operators to set the price however they want in an attempt to promote Internet phones. |

What fonzie lacks the brains to figure out is that this will likely help drive down mobile phone rates.
We should all be happy about it. |
