I normally don't approve of children being disrespectful towards adults. (We've all experienced it here in Korea.) But every once in a while it is so completely justified you just have to applaud. I'd love to see some kid go up to the obnoxious Itaewon jerk with his loud speaker and put him in his place.

You go girl.

Very Happy

Looked staged.

I read that it wasn't staged, but it sure looked like it.

Why is it justified in this case? The guy is just preaching nothing really controversial. Just something religious.

His next line... "Spare the rod, spoil the child."

What a 'lil beeee-yotch. Behavior like that should not be praised.

(Does look staged though)

Boy. Two walls talking at each other in that exchange. Typical way for both extremes, I guess.

Do like that "Pie hole; shut it!" reference by the 9, or whatever, yr old though...

Looks fake and if it isn't, the girl is a brat.

If people can get on the mic and campaign for your pet cause (abortion, equal rights, guns, pot legalization) then its okay for street preacher guy to do it. Of course if someone kid were to do that to the abortion rights crowd, there would be a completely different reaction from the people supporting this kid.

The religious freaks on the internet are now saying that little girl is "possessed" by a devil. Sorry, but people like that need to be told to shut up as often as possible. Preaching to people relaxing on an evening out that they and their kids are going to hell is obnoxious. There's no excuse for it. And the parents of that kid (who clearly coaxed her) are doing her a service by teaching her young that religious nonsense is not to be respected. Preaching belongs in a church, not on public streets. People sitting on a bench having a coffee or reading a book shouldn't have to endure verbal abuse from religious freaks. Nor should they have to get up and go elsewhere to avoid that abuse. Society is far too tolerant of religious people issuing threats to people in public places.

Keep it in the churches and off the streets.

Im never sure with people inclined towards the jebus-god if they litteraly mean 'the devil is in someone', or its just a figure of speech.
I mean how can jebus be in your heart? Its sole function is for oxygenating blood and moving it - its a figure of speech.

However, I agree that for the same reason people should be allowed an opinion, people should be allowed not to have to listen to it either.
I think its even rude when someone talks about their children more than 4 times in a conversation.
Imagine they are shouting it at you while youre eating lunch?

I have no problem being fuckin rude to someone who tries to talk to me about god - its a violation of my personal space as much as pushing me as far as Im concerned.

At least I say sorry when I bump into you.

But that girl needs to be drop kicked off a tall building, shes as bad as he is - theres no taking sides here...

Interesting point of view.
Not sure about that last one. People who use their kids as props should be taking the heat for this kind of bullshit. The kids are clueless.

I shudder to think of the verbal abuse that little girl's daddy takes from mommy.

Most people just ignore them or write them off as crazy. What better way to let religion kill itself than to let the crazies rant?

But society is also far too tolerant of bratty, unmannered, spoiled kids, and this is a good example of that.

Maybe the parents put her up to it, but would they let her talk to them in that way? Come to think of it, yes, they probably would allow that, and then buy her ice cream afterwards.

I'd rather have a few religious nuts on the corner than have a whole generation of kids that will grow up without any kind of respect instilled into them.
