(Didn't get an answer in the job-related forum, trying this here)
So I left Korea this past March, after 6 months at my hagwon (no midnight runner; I gave two months and helped find a new teacher). I've been in the US since then, and in a couple weeks I'm going to Seoul as a tourist.
I'm wondering - since I never filed a tax return and was paid via direct deposit (so who knows if taxes were reported properly), am I going to have issues at customs/immigration? I was only in Seoul for 6 months on E-2, which I assume was cancelled when I left. |

No issues to mention, come on back and pick up where you left off if that is what you decide to do. Cheers |

It won't be a problem. Even if you didn't pay your taxes then you would still have a lot more time to back pay them. Immigration won't care. |
