It is about the problems associated with hiring and employing foreign teachers. Odd that the journalist thought it appropriate to include an image from underage porn (albeit censored) in the article.

Yawn. This kind of stuff has been floating around for years.

Considering the many foreign freaks I've run into over the years, I believe their suspicion is warranted.

I would also add that most foreign teachers are working side jobs in violation of their work visa and not paying income tax on the monies received for such illegal work.

I do not engage in such illegal activity in Korea and considering that most foreign teachers are involved in criminal activity I have no sympathy for what some Koreans may say about them.

Wether or not a news article is 100% accurate, I believe their suspicion is warranted.

Are you Fn kidding me? As anyone who's been here more than a week knows, the things that get you hired are age, looks, and gender. Maybe if employers weren't so hung up on these things, experienced teachers could stay here and work instead of going to China or Saudi. Most of the good teachers I've known here got squeezed out of the market.

Secondly, the reporter claims there's no way to check criminal records. Thats just clearly false.

Thirdly, as revolting as sex with a 15 year old is, many Koreans have gotten away with it openly. There's 10,000 fatherless kids in the Philippines called Kopinos, from ajossis "golf trips". So, that's okay because the victims aren't Korean? I dont know, this article seems to be written by someone who doesn't know the industry well at all. Some good points, but mostly just ignorance.
