The English portion of the SooNeung is harder than I thought. Some of the people on YouTube claim that this question is "not that hard", but the phrasing and vocabulary is American college level and by no reasonable measure can be considered easy. That said, if you have good test taking skills, it should be pretty easy to see that choice 1 is the answer which most clearly contradicts the first part of the sentence with the blank. |

Way too difficult for high school students and an example of everything that is wrong about the official approach to English language education in Korea.
That being said the woman in the video didn't strike me as being that bright. |

I don't know what she majored in, but it clearly wasn't English, history, political science, or anything else involving critical reading. |
