I was out collecting cardboard yesterday, and I saw a white person in a field cutting cabbages.
There was a bit of cardboard not too far away from them, so I used it as an excuse to go over and talk to them.
It turned out that the owner of the land, also had a hagwon and they were using this person to harvest the cabbages.
They said they'd done worse in the US and were happy to help out the owner as he'd always paid them on time and that they'd get a bit of free Kimchi at the end of it.
Is this the future of EFL teaching in Korea?
Oh and if your apt drains are stinking of rotting cabbage at the moment it's because your neighbors are making kimchi and sticking the leftovers down the drain coz they're lazy !@#!$$s.
It'll go away in a few months time. |

I believe you because it was me!(LOL) Just kidding...but
I did hear two white female teachers at the foreigners hang-out last week, really excited about the opportunity to take part in an upcoming " traditional Korean experience".
It turns out they were going into the bosses cabbage patch field to "yes" harvest the cabbage and proceed to "learn" about the kimchi making process "hands on" with the bosses family.
This is the new "assimilation" process, I think. But if they don't mind doing it, I don't really see a problem with it. On the other hand, if it was required labor, that's a whole different story. |

I worked at a school before that was sinking. They told us that we now have to clean the school. I said no way. They then asked me to clean my own work area, and I said okay.
The bus driver started cleaning so we just assumed she had been asked by the school and hopefully paid to do that. it turns out she wasn't, she just took the initiative, then started telling us off for not working hard enough in her eyes.
The lady and the head teacher had a huge fight right in front of the mothers while the boss was hiding in the basement parkade smoking.
Fun day. |

Assimilation?!!? F THAT. I'm here to work a few years and collect my cash and GO HOME--NOT "assimilate", I'm not living here long-term. LOL at beta westerners coming over here and acting like like subservient little children. Be a YOUR OWN MAN or WOMAN. |

Would you hit me in the face if you saw me collecting cardboard?
LOL at you Alpha, i'm making $$$ collecting that brown gold! The shiny cardboard is worth almost double too!
Now is peak cardboard season - all those orange/apple/pear boxes, being collected up, ready to be re-used next year!
I'm making more through cardboard than through teaching English! |

Considering a lot of really pathetic job offers I have seen as of late, I am halfway inclined to believe you.

Do you promise to add training on how to not get killed while pushing your rickshaw on the street while walking against traffic?

Effective time management training will mean that you never have to fight against on coming traffic 'always go with the flow' - never push back.
(similar lines I used on a certain posters ______). |

Cool. I heard you're only gay if you push back.
You seem to be an expert on that topic.
