Asians cant drive worth a damn.
My favorite Jeju move is the "try to turn left across oncoming traffic and expect them to stop"
Classic. Almost a t bone every time |

Not to be a smart ass but China is not an OECD member. Koreans are certainly not safe drivers. What scares me is that they say the Chinese are worse and they are going to give them keys to a car. |

Wait till you see two loaded orange trucks collide head on. The explosion of fruit is truely a sight to behold. |

Cool. No offense felt. I was/am aware that China isn't an OECD member. Only bringing to notice that Korea isn't a 5 Star country for driving safety. I probably shouldn't have thrown in the OECD part.
Korea will forego the safety part if it brings in an extra WON. Remember the SEWOL. |

I'm aware that China isn't an OECD country. I shouldn't have used the OECD statement.
China is worse, I agree. But, Korean drivers are crap also. |

Well then there was no point in bringing that up. Everyone knows Koreans are crap drivers.
I have friends who moved on to China, and came back screaming how much worse Chinese drivers are. |

Japanese drivers are good drivers. I checked some stats. 3X safer than Korean drivers. |

Korea seems to be the bastard child of the OECD.

It's amazing. You walk around the streets of Japan, and you wonder to yourself how the Koreans and the Chinese ended up the way they did - and the Japanese are light years ahead of them. LIGHT YEARS. |

So are you saying they shouldnt let Chinese tourists rent cars? Wouldnt that be discrimination? If they did that to Brits or Canadians, would you support it? |

I would say discrimination is more like Koreans advertising teaching positions as- NA, Female, White, Under 30.
I never said Chinese tourists shouldn't be allowed to rent cars. I said Korea will do anything it can to bring an extra WON. Now, stop implying that I said things that I didn't say.
Now you are trying to build a straw man to derail this thread. |

That's a sobering thought.
They used to, maybe still do, have a TV program about nothing but pedestrians being run over (and usually killed) by motorists. It was ostensible about safety but the way they commented on the accidents it was more like the SCTV Farm Report: "He blowed up real good." |
