|
|
I'm finishing my current contract in March. I'm pursuing a job opportunity (that I haven't been offered yet..hence hypothetical) that would start in January. By that time, I would already be finished my actual work. People leave my school all the time, go home to Canada/America in January and get paid in full for January and February.
Would I expect to get those two months pay, if I did the same thing but took a job in January in Korea?
I'm thinking not because I would have to cancel the visa (and get a release letter?) and apply anew but I'm wondering if its possible. |

If your new duties did not interfere in any way with your old job and you were able to work the new job without them even knowing, then it is theoretically possible.
The problem is the visa. If you are an F visa, then go for it. No problem. If you need sponsorship, then it would require your new employer allowing you to work for them while under someone else's visa. Illegal. If you do it, don't get caught. |

My duties wouldn't interfere at all but there is no way that I could do the second option. I would need to change visas. |
