| Aside from the requirements being totally ridiculous, there's a fundamental problem of approach. You want someone who has taught at the university level, and you think that his or her university teaching experience will somehow translate into a superior educational experience for toddlers? Are they insane? Lipstick on a pig continues to rule the day in the field of Korean English education. |

I taught public school kindergarden a few eyars back.
First of all, it isn't rocket science.
Second, songs, puppets with simple dialogues, picture cards, etc.
Thirdly, trial and error will bring you up to speed with a few months as to how to deliver it.
Fourth, if you speak basic Korean, you can communicate and re-enforce English words and watch the kids pick it up quickly.
Fifth, you just have to be fun, outgoing, and willing to sing a song or two and the little ones'll go nuts over you.
Sixth, a Masters or PHD to teach little ones? Ha ha ha ha. Bunch of eff tards!
Seventh, another year or two, most expats'll be over in China and Korea can eff off and quit being so obnoxious.
Eight, a Masters is for teaching some undergrad courses for credit, but a PHD is more credible. A hakwon, which is what this is doesn't require this level of education. What a bunch of dopes? |
