Yea, I mean, regardless of the state or location, this program could be applied to get people to move out of Seoul. That's the point. |

Yea, I mean, regardless of the state or location, this program could be applied to get people to move out of Seoul. That's the point. |
It could be applied, but I doubt it would work. They moved government offices to Daajeon and many of the workers commuted (on the weekends) to Seoul so their kids could go to school there.
Things are changing (some) but Seoul is still where it's at in Korea and in the Korean psyche. That's why the new areas listed above are seen as good places to live; they all have easy access to Seoul. |
