as someone who could potentially have HIV, i am glad they check all foreigners. i wouldn't want anyone with HIV coming into Canada for any reason.
also, i'm glad it's dudes who have HIV but... most people i know have unprotected sex anyway so it's only a matter of time |
They don't test all foreigners. These days English teachers are one of the few remaining categories of foreigner that are required to have an HIV test.
Also testing foreigners for HIV and banning people with the disease from entering and living in the country does nothing to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS. |
And to single out teachers in the catagory of foreigners is even more racist, discriminatory, and misguided.
If anything, they should be testing hungover ajossis and vietnamese "karaeoke" workers. |

I've heard the black gums thing is sometimes a symptom? I definitely see a bit of that here and in Japan. |

So it says theyre 92% male. Hmm so its getting spread around by gay ajossis OR the sex tourism OR the domestic prostitution industry.
How about more blood tests for SE asian bar girls and drunk ajossis instead of college educated western teachers? Hmm crazy thought! |
They removed the requirement for HIV tests for 'entertainers' on E6 visas back in 2010. |
E-6 visa. Is that the visa you guys are using to enter Korea now? |

No, that was the visa which saw many women from SE Asia brought to Korea on false pretences after which they went to work in 'juicy bars'.
Apparently Korean feminists were able to shame the Korean and Philippino governments to restrict the practice.
Despite the ties these E6 visa holders had with the sex trade, they were not deemed to be a risk group and so they no longer had to get tested. |

Not a risk group? What a laugh.
At some point the HIV rate here will be higher than wrstern countries and every dirty foreigner will be tested. Who will they blame then? |

At some point, they've gotta look inside and blame themselves.
Knowing Korea, that will be a long time.

Girls from Clark golf trips don't give AIDS. They are tested. Getting your glory hole jollies in the gay district beside the station does. |

The stats look like at 13-14% increase in new infections this year compared to last year. And almost everyone with it is a guy. |
That's what happens when adjossis go abroad and *beep* lots of aids infested Thai and Filipino hookers. I mean would it really kill you guys to wear a rubber? Obviously, not wearing one, is killing you even more. |

Where is that location again?
Korean women do not ALLOW men to use rubbers ! I remember my K-GF just wouldn't have sex with that 'thing' on.
Health hazard. |

Really? Some girls insisted on a condom for the first meeting, while others didn't. Not every K chick is the same like not all western chicks are the same. |

But as for complaining about Aids testing. E2's aren't tested for AIDs anymore. |
