All of the monthly gyms I'm aware of cost in the neighborhood of W50,000. That gets you in the door and a pair of shorts/T-shirt/towel. I know of an upper end one that also has a swimming pool, 2 saunas, a lounge, and barber shop that costs W1 million a year (monthly is not possible).

I pay 50-60k/month depending on how long I sign up for. that includes clothes, towels and a locker I can keep shampoo and stuff in. There is also a sauna around the corner. According to Mrs Flyer the ladies side has a sauna in the shower room.

Its in an older building near Konkuk Univ. and its fairly big, for some of the smaller ones nearer to me it runs abot 45k month but the places are tiny.

I hear Ballys etc out in Kangnam and Apukjong run 100-200k/month but are really posh

Yup, they start around W40,000 and go up depending on where they are and what facilities they have.

Join for a month to start, then if you like it, take a three month term and they'll give you a discount.

Just look out for the often "unusual" etiquette.

I used to go to a gym that cost 10,000 per month- that included the shorts and t-shirt, no locker (although I'm too stupid to know how to ask about it).

My new place is 5,000 per visit, but it's attached to a sauna and all that entails.

yeah the very same- why is it creepy? I think it's great since I only do washing once a week and (ideally) go to the gym thrice.

You know, going to the gym is a good way to meet some of the type of Korean women you keep saying you want to meet.

Seriously.

To MILF hunt or not to MILF hunt, aye, that is the question.

mine costs me 130,000, for the first month, and then 70,000 there after. its choka block full of equipment which is a plus, never have to wait for machines, treadmills etc, its huge so as not to be cramped next to sweaty ajumas, and includes spa baths, saunas and huge shower complex. you can get the "service" shorts , tshirt etc, but i persona;lly would prefernot. anyway, its in daejeon on the third floor of the carre four building in yeosong. laterz

crazy
