They've got an advert up on their site. They don't say what the salary is it if it's in Songdo or Sinchon. Anyone know what it's like to work there now? Or about salary?

Your website lists this:

Yonsei University: They only advertise on their website nowadays. You'll get 3.0-3.5 mil won to start for teaching 12 hours per week.

And I think it's in Songdo as the advert asks applicants to send apps to the Songdo campus address.

Yeah I know but stuff here changes all the time. Yonsei Wonju used to be 3.5. Now it's 2.5-2.8 and 3 more hours. Makes me think that the Seoul campus could change as well.

Do you have to teach kids there too? In the past it was a requirement.

This is not the Language Institute job.

It's 12 hours a week and it is in Songdo - 1 hour from the main Seoul campus using the free Yonsei Express Bus.

Actually, it's in Sinchon. http://yonsei.ac.kr/eng/news/employment/index.asp

I thought Songdo as well, but that's just where the apps are being mailed to.

Well tell them to *beep* off. Are folks really that desperate to have the title of professor attached to their name? I guess there are dolts out there who will take it driving down the wages. Those who are smart won't take it. Those who are stupid will take it. To each their own.

Er, No...it's in Songdo. I work here and the job ad hasn't corrected the location.

I'm surprised top ranked universities in Korea are putting out ads with erroneous information (and then not correcting that information).

Huh. I guess people will be surprised when they find that out. Pretty big mistake. They ought to fix it.

wait until you see their application when they ask for church and pastor info. Not as bad as some schools but still annoying

I guess those people who can provide that info will have a better shot. Seems like a pretty good job though.
