Here in my city gas is 1.79 a gallon.

What is gas going for in Korea right now?

Average prices across the U.S. are tracking at $2.43 a gallon.

“As of this morning, there are 24 states with prices under $2 a gallon,” GasBuddy’s senior petroleum analyst told USA Today.

Commuters in Missouri have reaped the biggest windfalls, with gas dropping to $1.96 a gallon in Springfield–and even lower in some outlying towns.

Is that about $6 a gallon? (That's less than before.)

Industry analyst Trilby Lundberg said Sunday that prices will likely keep falling.

Lundberg says the average price of regular gasoline is the lowest it's been in more than five years.

She says lower crude oil prices are driving prices down, along with an abundant oil supply and the rising value of the U.S. dollar.

here in Austin, TX I paid $2.29 on Thursday, since then it has gone down.

A cost comparison, in the spring when it was at the high of $3.50/gal, the 15 odd gallon fillup I usually do on it (I'm driving a huge gas guzzling mini van) I cost me around $54, Thursday it cost under $34, $20/week for one car = around $85/month in savings, not bad?

I read in today's paper the average for the state of Texas overall is $2.25. Gas prices have fallen for eleven consecutive weeks. (They are expected to go down more in 2015, too.)

I think it's around $2.45 here in the ATL burbs, but it's been dropping so quickly that I can't keep track.

That gas station I mentioned at $1.79 a gallon only had it up for a few hours before their prices back up! Bastards!

It's crazy how it's .30-.40 cents cheaper the further north of Austin one goes.

I use premium on both my vehicles. Gas station nearby has regular at $1.89, but I pay $2.22 for the good stuff.
