In japan about 140 yen per liter.
In dollars that would be $4.67 a gallon.
It has gone down. It used to be about 6 bucks.

It's crazy how it's .30-.40 cents cheaper the further north of Austin one goes.

I use premium on both my vehicles. Gas station nearby has regular at $1.89, but I pay $2.22 for the good stuff.

Confirmed at $2.30 in the ATL burbs today. Probably $2.55 or so in Atlanta, what with the liberals and their taxification.

ONLY YOU would bring politics into a thread about the price of gas. Very Happy

That was totally tongue in cheek, which I assumed would be evident given my use of a non-word. That said, I just did some research, and it turns out that the 25 cent difference is actually just a standard city upcharge, not a local gas tax.

Of course you're right, and I was drinking at the time.

"HuHuh! I was in the right!"
"Yes, absolutely in the right!"
"I certainly was in the right!"
"You was definitely in the right. That geezer was cruising for a
bruising!"
"Yeah!"
"Why does anyone do anything?"
"I don't know, I was really drunk at the time!"
"I was just telling him, he couldn't get into number 2. He was asking
why he wasn't coming up on freely..."

Good thing you didn't decide to go double check the price of gas.

I can't remember the last time I saw prices under $2 a gallon. 10 yeas ago maybe?

Cheapest I've seen here in DC is $2.54. I'm sure it is 10-20 cents cheaper in NoVA.

Edited to add: looks like it is down to $2.39 in my neighborhood. Big drop the past couple days...

Driving through Marble Falls to Austin Texas today, 1.61 a gallon, cheapest I've seen since I don't know when. How long this is going to last is anyone's guess but it sure is nice.

On the other hand, it brings out a lot of people joyriding. Does anyone remember joyriding?
