Few deals have been floating around, major US carriers are fighting each other ex-ICN
DL and UA were going for about $290 and now AA is $310
Minimum stay should be 7 days. It might work around Korean holidays.

Now I wish a price war would happen to flights heading AU/NZ |

The low oil prices are really working out nice. Any low INC to LAX fares? |

So what ?
It is unbeatable price and AA will honor it ! Otherwise it's gonna be an easy case for DOT! |

Your friend either heard wrong or received BS from AA. This type of error happens sometimes. Last summer it was 1st class tickets for $1700 round-trip from Boston to ICN on United. Those tickets were honored by UA.
As Ramen123 said, one can file a DOT complaint if the airline doesn't honor the purchased ticket. |

An agreement was established, you possess the ticket. If they won't honor it sue them. |

I got in on this deal for a 2 week trip to the US West Coast. Paid just a bit over $300 for the trip.
The flights were ticketed immediately, and I got the confirmation email within half hour. Sad that I didn't buy tickets for the Summer - there were so many days available for roughly $250-$300, return.
Mistake fare or not, AA honored it. I also got TONS of miles for it, which made the trip half the cost as I'll redeem those miles for a future trip. |
