Like the title says...no more wiziwig Sad
What other sites are good for streaming sports? Mainly NBA and MLB once the season starts. I really don't fancy shelling out the cash for the official feeds.

IMO the best place to find decent streams is on reddit. Lets say you want to watch the Yankees/Red Sox game. Head over to the baseball subreddit or the subreddit of the team you want to watch and check out the threads. There is always a "Match Thread" which will include a bunch of live/update to date streams.

For example right now Ohio State and Alabama is playing....here is the In-Game Thread. Notice at the top there are a few streams.

Hope these streaming sites find out how Piratebay got back online (thepiratebay.com.ua) otherwise it's back to working day jobs and downloading stuff at night here in Asia.

The Wiziwig owner (in their broken English) explains why the internet went black on Jan. 1.

Goodbye to torrents soon. Get your fix now.

I can see why the movie and music industry hates torrents but why should I pay for something I've watched on cable TV as advertisers are they main revenue for broadcast networks. Everyone wants a piece of the pie.

But you know, for ease & reliability, mlb.tv is hard to beat. Its only about US$100 for the whole long season. You get every game here with no blackouts including post-season & its quick & simple to flip between games. Everything HD. Occasional stutters but not usually. No more searching around for dodgy third-party feeds. If you play yahoo fantasy, it even alerts you when any of your players are on deck on a different channel.

I subscribed the last couple seasons & surely got my money's worth, the equivalent of a night or two at the bar? Good value if you're into watching baseball.

I really wish the Premier League and NASCAR would step up their game and offer the same kind of paid services as the MLB/NBA/NFL/NHL for live streams. It's not that expensive and you get a lot of content for a reasonable price.

It's the age of smartphones and tablets. People are going to want to stream that. They'll pay. They are losing out on millions in revenue.

I second mlb.tv. High quality, legit, you can watch the games live or when you get home. You can watch home or away announcers and even radio feeds. You can even watch games from years past. I don't mind paying 100-120 bucks a year. Now the NFL wants around 300 bucks for just 16 games a season. Eff that. illegal streaming it is. College football has no paying options I'm aware of. The NBA wants around 200 bucks a year. I'm still on the fence about that one.

The way to work around it is to try and remember some of the more popular links that were posted on wiziwig, and then bookmark them. I remembered two such links and it worked beautifully for me. Got to see all of the weekend bowl games and football playoffs in the USA. Some of the previous links also carry a wide range of services. So put your thinking caps on and you can figure it out. Good luck. Cool
