I have never ever had a conversation with anyone at a gym- when my houesemate went to the same one as me, if we saw each other we'd just go "Alright mate, see you at home". I like to get in, do my dos then get out ASAP.

Any place can be a pickup spot. In a previous life, I've dated (female)gym trainers and also been set up by trainers with (female) members.

Mine is free, but it is in my school's dorm. In honesty it really isn't very great, but it does have the treadmill that I use and some free weights that I use too. Never busy in the afternoons, but at night it turns into a social club for many of the students at night.

I asked the Korean teacher gal to my left in the staff room and she goes to one that costs 80,000 but that includes the sauna. It's open until midight which is unusual.
But near my house, on a fourth floor (over a mogyauk) is one for 40,000. It is basic, rather 'classic', with old benches from bygone times, etc.

mine includes that's too, a big one actually. I get a large discount cause i complained that none of the trainers speak english so i dont get all the benefits korean people do. mines open til 11pm

We pay 70,000 a month and the gym is really nice. The weight machines are all new and imported. I think there's 14 of them. Also, lots of treadmills, bikes, elliptical machines, free weights, and those weird massage belts. Everything is in great shape and the trainers are really nice. The only thing I'm curious about is that there is no circulation in the gym, like, as in air circulation. I imagine come summer is gonna get roasty in there!

i tried to join a gym by my house for 70,000 but was rudely denied by the musclehead at the counter. would this be the racism to non-caucasians ive heard so much about - im filipino/canadian. would like to think its lack of communication but i couldnt see how pointing at the sign and then myself be confused for anything else. luckily i found one for 30,000 - small but it does the job.

we just got our membership to the gym in the world cup stadium complex. we paid the ("special intro price") 2.5 million a year for couples. Here��s what we get:

*a huge weight room with all new equipment (including oodles of technology for your viewing pleasure),
*swimming facilities that include: an olympic size swimming pool, a kids pool with water slide, and a jaccuzi,
*a full sauna,
*and several classes are included, such as the abdominal workshop that i'm looking at doing.
