Singer Bobby Kim was escorted off an Incheon - San Francisco flight. Can you guess why?

He wanted the flight attendant to add special sauce to his nuts?

YiP. You guessed it.

You can take a Korean out of Korea, but you can't take the Korean out of a Korean.

According to the carrier, Kim discovered he had been given an economy seat after he had boarded the plane and got off to return to the ticketing counter to demand an upgrade. But ground staff refused claiming he did not have enough air miles.

As a result, the plane took off around 29 minutes late.

According to the Justice Ministry, he was given a seat assigned to another passenger named Robert Kim, but the singer's name in his passport is Robert Do Kyun Kim.

Kim passed through several checkpoints at the airport though he was carrying a boarding ticket with a name that did not completely match the one on his passport. One airport official said, "This demonstrates that a person could pass through airport checkpoints carrying another person's boarding pass if a carrier makes a mistake. It appears that nobody bothered to check."

Korean Air belatedly discovered the mistake after the right Robert Kim came to the ticketing counter but failed to follow up on the matter.

Instead, it upgraded another passenger to business class in order to free a seat in economy.

Too many Kim's, or should that be Gim's...
