An old, dear friend has an eight hour layover starting at 7 AM this Saturday.

He's a boozehound. So I mainly am curious if there are any PAY-PER-VISIT lounges with alcohol included. I've heard that the Hub Lounge is open to anyone (or only travelers with tickets??), but I can't seem to confirm it.

Are there any bars with the standard 3,000 or 4,000 crappy domestic beers? Or something a little more fun, a noraebang? Or any decent neighborhoods (keep in mind, we'll be starting around noon on a Saturday) nearby that will have stuff open?

At worst I figure we can just hang out at the airport, people-watch and buy beers at a CU Mart type of place. But if anyone knows anything better, much obliged.

You can go to the casino across from the airport. Not sure if they offer drinks for free still. I heard the rules changed at walker hill. Just play the cheap slots and people watch while you drink.

Second option is to take a quick subway/taxi to the new airport town. You'll find plenty of options (noraebang, screen golf, parks if the weather is decent, etc.)

in incheon, hub lounge at 35 per visit is his only option if he has an ongoing ticket.

spending 35 for a single visit is a bit silly in my opinion though and if he travels at any capacity getting a priority pass membership is a better value. at most airports priority pass lounges tend to be the actual carrier lounges and not lounges made for the general masses.

There is a movie theatre in the airport. I do not know where but I am sure there are signs.

I think you pass it when you exit from the railway link.

Once, for some reason that I can't remember now, I arrived at the airport four hours before my flight. I had heard about one casino close by that is connected to a hotel, and the hotel has a free shuttle to the airport. So I went over, had a few drinks(can't remember but think I paid for them), played the slots, and won $50 bucks. Not a bad way to spend a few hours.
