this conversation is obviously not about the buying of sex (i could give two $hits if a customer gets arrested or not, but in sweden the woman will not get arrested)

No. This conversation is about buying sex.

No prostitutes are reading this thread. However, johns and potential johns are reading this thread.

None of us on Dave's have the power to legalize the selling of prostitution (while criminalizing the buying of it I guess, which apparently is the strategy you've been lauding) in Europe or the United States or anywhere else. (We're not presidents or in parliament.)

However, we do have the power to choose whether to go to prostitutes or not. I'm saying not to.

By the way, the reason Sweden criminalized the buying of sex while decriminalizing the selling of it was to combat human trafficking. This way a woman could go to the government to escape the pimps/traffickers without fear of arrest. (Before, she'd probably be less likely to; bad people could control her through that fear.)

Oh, so you do want sex buyers in Sweden to be arrested? (For some reason I highly doubt that.) Rolling Eyes

I want all adults to have the freedom to do whatever they want as long as they don't harm others. You called me a "sexpat". I don't know what that entails but undoubtedly it's better than being a fundamentalist Christian wackjob with sexual hangups such as yourself.

trying to have any discussion with weird rambler is like pulling teeth. you'd imagine if you got called a wackjob and an idiot as much as he does that you'd start to realize there was something to it... Rolling Eyes

That you and radcon call people names after you lose an argument says more about you than anyone else. Neither of you are what I'd consider rational or sane, so your opinion of me isn't really hurting my feelings. Too bad you can't say anything more about the topic at hand.

Really weak, dude. I asked you to say more about prostitution and you wouldn't/couldn't. Those links are just of me winning arguments. Sure when some people lose, they get defensive and angry and call names, but that doesn't make them right. Good reads though. People who click on those links will learn something new.
