We moved out of that area in May, my in-laws live in Lake Palace. In their apartment building (admittedly one containing the huge 55 pyeong-ers), there was only one foreigner, a middle-aged guy who lived with his in-laws strangely enough. I remember only ever seeing one foreign family there (who may or may not have been residents) in six years. I have Korean friends who live in Trizium and that was the same, although I did see a flyer once for a home-school run by a Canadian(?) and his wife out of an apartment there.

On a side note, I don't know if you're thinking of buying but prices have dropped off around 30% on those apartments in the last few years and are still falling.

yeah now is probably an ideal time to buy. one of my gal pal's parents designed one of the apartment complexes on the lake and they also live there and they are hoping once lotte tower is finished and starts bringing in more tourism to jamsil that it'll boost their apartment's value.

I've taught students in one of the apartment buildings very near Jamsil station for several months during 2014, and I'm the only foreigner I ever saw go in and out, ride the elevator, etc.
