Oh dear, Oregon might just win this whole thing. Then we will hear the Oregon fans just go on and on and on and on and on and on and on. Even in Korea where they will flood esl sites expecting everyone to know where Oregon is, their university, and give a crap about American College Football.

Bama, LSU, Auburn, Florida State, Oklahoma, USC, Ohio State, you'd never hear anything out of anyone.

I can't believe I'm actually rooting for an Ohio State team...

This will mark the first time since 2007 that a team from the SEC will not be playing for the National Championship.

I think it was the 2006 Rose Bowl at the end of the 2005 season: USC & Texas.

Exactly, that was the last year one of the two teams was not from the SEC. Now if you were to talk about all teams from the south, regardless of conference, and include Texas and/or Oklahoma,(some do, some don't), you can go back to 1984, when an undefeated BYU beat a 6-5 Michigan team in the Holiday bowl.

On a side note, and I do mean "note".......as I was watching the bowl games over the last week, I kept hearing a particular song played in the background by the college marching bands in just about every game I watched - a song that I knew I knew, but could not put my finger on it, and it was driving me crazy. Finally I figured it out, "Seven Nation Army" by The White Stripes.

Then I read this and found out that I am like ten years behind the times, as usual......
How The Song "Seven Nation Army" Conquered The Sports World

Here's Ohio State chanting it.

Last week I thought Detroit got hosed in the Dallas game when the flag for PI was picked up with no explanation.

This week it looks like Dallas got hosed against Green Bay when Dez Bryant's apparent catch at the one yard line was reversed because they said he did not have control. Karma?

A Detroit fan tweeted, "Sorry, Dallas, we know how you feel."

Not really, pass interference call was debatable, but Dez Bryant no-catch was overturned on video review. That means there was un-deniable evidence that even Dez can't overcome accident waiting to happen. >V Laughing V<

Anyway, what's the matter with Big 12 and SEC West? Choklahoma did the usual, Baylor blow it, and the SEC West goes Titanium Sombrero in bowls. This isn't worth 2.25 bil ESPN bucks! $ Laughing $

Yep, I know that is what they are saying, but I still think they are wrong.

I will say this, the Dallas coach was classy enough not to use that as an excuse for losing.

Good for the BUCKEYES! They certainly looked like the best team this year.
