The line between heavy drinker and alcoholic is fuzzy. 1.6 million you say? Where did you get that number? |

Small amounts of wine have heart health benefits supposedly.
Any amount of soju or Korean beer can't be good for one's body. |

Wine. Yes, wine. Although sometimes wine was taken for improper means, it had enormous health benefits. It was used as a health drink.
Soju, and beer somewhat, is consumed to achieve a condition of drunkenness. It has no health benefits. It's sole purpose is for sinful acts.
It's in the book, somewhere, "Yae, I say unto the don't consume the foul liquor of the sinners or there will be a burden put upon the." SIN TAX |

You don't need to be so obtuse. There are many justifications for taxation of alcohol based on the huge expenses it inflicts on society in the form of elevated crime rates, medical expenditure, property damage etc.
Sin tax is a very common term. You don't need to wilfully misinterpret everything just for the sake of being argumentative. |

Are they going to start banning sales of alcohol on Sundays too? I guess now, like the smokers were before, I'm upset that they plan to ban drinking in parks. I can understand the ban on drinking in America, because people get crazy there, but here I don't see a lot of crazy stuff happening after someone gets drunk. |

willfully misinterpret? you need to read this thread very carefully or maybe even while conscious because you seem to be confused.
candy bar very clearly is talking about religious nutbaggery, he even typed this, and i quote:
"It's in the book, somewhere, "Yae, I say unto the don't consume the foul liquor of the sinners or there will be a burden put upon the." SIN TAX"
so yes, if he wants alcohol to have a sin tax based on religious nonsense and not a tax for public health and safety, then he should also be taxed whenever he sins in even the slightest way. eye for an eye right?

The video is the dumbest thing I have ever seen. I stopped watching it around the first 45 seconds. |

Yes. You willfully misinterpreted what I had written. You are attempting to turn this into a religious argument. What's all this "eye for an eye" ?
SIN TAX is a term often used as a taxation placed on items or activities that are a burden on society. |
