Small amounts of wine have heart health benefits supposedly.
Any amount of soju or Korean beer can't be good for one's body. |

Wine. Yes, wine. Although sometimes wine was taken for improper means, it had enormous health benefits. It was used as a health drink.
Soju, and beer somewhat, is consumed to achieve a condition of drunkenness. It has no health benefits. It's sole purpose is for sinful acts.

You don't need to be so obtuse. There are many justifications for taxation of alcohol based on the huge expenses it inflicts on society in the form of elevated crime rates, medical expenditure, property damage etc.
Sin tax is a very common term. You don't need to wilfully misinterpret everything just for the sake of being argumentative. |

| Are they going to start banning sales of alcohol on Sundays too? I guess now, like the smokers were before, I'm upset that they plan to ban drinking in parks. I can understand the ban on drinking in America, because people get crazy there, but here I don't see a lot of crazy stuff happening after someone gets drunk. |

Yes. You willfully misinterpreted what I had written. You are attempting to turn this into a religious argument. What's all this "eye for an eye" ?
SIN TAX is a term often used as a taxation placed on items or activities that are a burden on society. |
