I am looking to buy furniture like a desk, bed and storage space for my house in Daechidong, does anyone have any suggestions as to were I could get these things?
Names of physical shops and markets as well as online websites would be useful! Thank you

gmarket is a good place to start for online shopping. they have english, and its fairly easy to use.

as far as daechi-dong goes, there isn't a lot in the area (i've lived here for two years). there's a cheaper housing supply shop on the market street near lotte dept store, if you want directions you can PM me. but unless you're willing to pay dept store prices for furniture, your best bet is online.

Gmarket. Every thing I've bought from there has been decent and lasted a long time. All cheap furniture. I think Ikea offers shipping for a fee, so there's that.

I completely forgot!! Along the road beside lotte, heading north/south (basically the bundang subway line road) there are a few furniture shops. Again, if you need directions PM me.

Thanks! I went to IKEA today to check out some furniture I thought I would like, I am so glad I saw them first hand! It's far away but it was worth it. It is massive! Unfortunately you cannot order online so I have to go again and get it delivered. Gmarket isn't too bad either but I need to work out how to get an account
