Can anyone here relate to this scenario of returning home after living the expat life? ㅋㅋㅋ

Nope. Not at all.
In fact, I found the video totally annoying. I've been here for years, but don't act like that. I'd cringe if someone returned after a year in Korea... and brought toilet paper to a restaurant. |

| I liked it. It's obviously hyperbole, but she seems to at least understand Korea rather than simply fetishize it, unlike a certain rather annoying blogging couple. |

| You can tell she's faking it near the end when she has a drink of soju and reacts like it's a glass of fine wine. |

Not the slightest bit realistic. At the table she should have eaten like a pig, coughed all over her friends' food, hacked, yelled into her phone, and a whole host of other objectionable behavior.
She is kind of cute, though. So she's forgiven. |

I liked it. The reaction of the friends and other bystanders was good. I think it should have cut at 3:25, though. The whole, "Ahhh...I'm back in Korea again" seemed a little heavy handed. Took itself too seriously after doing a decent comedy routine. |

| I've actually fallen victim to asking for "Cider"... that one I could relate to...but the rest no. |

That was pathetic!
After more than 13 years here, I have never, and will never, act like that. |

I've asked for it at Korean restaurants in the States and then I get pissed when they bring me Sprite. It's just not the same! |

She forgot to comment on the friend's "brackness" and how much she misses eating dog soup.
Could have been done much better. |

I used "handphone" a lot when I went back home.
Any English speaking foreigner who ever uses "fighting" should be taken out back and beat with a very big stick.
But, I'd LOVE it if we could do the "shout out" to waiters/waitresses in bars and casual restaurants back home. Not the nice places of course, but definitely bars and Bennigan's type places. |
