| I've known a couple of visiting and tenure track lit profs over the years. Funniest story I heard came from a guy who is ABD in lit. They asked him to teach lit at his university as he has a lot of experience. He said that it didn't take long before he had no choice to break out videos. Granted, that wasn't at a particularly good university, but the key is to not get your expectations up too high, especially if you've never taught the stuff before! |

What are your qualifications, if you don't mind my asking? Did you need a teachers lisence? MA? |
No license. MA in literature from a top 10 school. |
