So, there I was just walking across the street in Itaeweon last night with a bunch of other people--random grouping of strangers as you would expect around 10 p.m. waiting to cross at the zebra crossing--when some white dude riding a red motorcycle and wearing a black helmet decided "Screw the pedestrians; I'm coming through." Well, one pedestrian--another white dude, but wearing a gray jacket and black jeans--didn't take too kindly to almost getting hit. The pedestrian yelled something at the biker and then the biker hit the pedestrian in the chest. Immediately after that, the biker took off into the crowd, nearly running over other pedestrians. The pedestrian the biker slugged took off on foot after the biker.

I hope the pedestrian caught the jerk-on-a-bike. Actually, I hope the jerk-on-a-bike crashed and ruined his precious license to be a jackass in public, without actually getting himself hurt in the process.

More important, I hope the biker realizes how wrong he was and grows the freak up.

For the jerk-on-a-bike (on the off-chance he's reading this): Grow up. Slow down. Drive your cycle right. The course you've evidenced last night is one in which you will either end up dead or in prison for causing someone else to end up dead.
