Hi,
what is the best place to buy beer in Itaewon?
I don't remember seeing a supermarket or liquor store.
I am looking for beer from Britain and Ireland, mostly.

There are a few small convenience stores with decent beer and wine selections but they are overpriced. Yongsan Emart is a 4000won cab ride away and they have a selection of beers from all over the world at better prices.

There's a place called "The Bottle Shop" in Kyungnidan, just outside of Itaewon. Overpriced, but really decent selection. There are a few shops around there that sell decent beer, and a few "craft beer" spots there as well.

From Itaewon you can go to yongsan station and visit the emart there. The bigger branches have a good selection of beers, albiet the majority is American.
For British beers you would be best finding a Homeplus. They have a decent selection with some Tesco branded ales. The prices are a tad higher than emart though.
Your other option is going down to HBC and seeking out the bottle shop or the Woori super..Woori is a bit cheaper but prices are high overall. They have Brewdog and Black Isle ales.
The holy grail for UK beer is the british embassy bar, but you need to be a member.

I am American so I guess I can't be a member, but I just visit Seoul
so it is OK.
