Firstly, I apologize if this has already been addressed. I couldn't find any threads related to it!

I was wondering if anyone has experience working as a relief teacher with YBM. If so, can you share the advantages? Disadvantages (crappy last-minute/on-call shifts)?

Thanks in advanced! Smile

I did it while working for EDUBOX and developing material a few years ago. However, it was never as an on-call kind of thing, it was always scheduled. I would periodically go fill in when one of the chains needed a teacher between contracts for a week or 2. They always paid for transportation and gave some extra pay for the work.

Overall it wasn't terrible, but when it disrupted my normal workload it got a little painful as I was still expected to meet certain deadlines. Also, traveling an hour or 90 minutes each way to some school out near Gimpo was never fun.
