What to bring and not to bring?

my advice is to treat this sojourn as if you were on holiday. Bring everything you think youd need for a month of travelling so you dont have to fork out when you get here - including a first aid kit.
On top of that' bring a bed sheet.
Then bring the minimum you would need to a weeks worth of work clothes and 4 weekends playing.
When you get a pay check, you should be able to find/buy/order or make pretty much anything you can get back at home if you so desire.

I honestly dont know what the *beep* most people whine about in Korea saying they cant buy stuff. I think they must shop with their heads up their arses...

Deodorant used to by the big one, but it can actually be found here now. I always bring toothpaste from back home or buy proper American toothpaste in Southeast Asia on vacations. Korean toothpaste is wretched. I generally bring a healthy supply of OTC meds from back home as well. I don't want to bother going to the doctor and then the pharmacy just to get 2 days worth of a lesser version of NyQuil.
