Aside from doing business during the era, what evidence is there he was wasn't? He never supported the Japanese occupiers by donating money, or came out with pro-Japanese statements. His business wasn't even a major company before 1945. It was only after 1950, during the Korean War that his company really started to see success. |
Don't you know why Samsung became successfull? Because they stole the technology from Japanese engineers. Koreans will never admit that Japan's contribution to Korean industries because it hurts their national pride. |

They may have stole, hired, bench marked, or whatever technology from japan. But doesn't make them collaborators. |

Read more at debito.org

These days you might as well say read more at stormfront or koreansentry to get your view of Japan as debito is so blinded by hate.
The liberal visa laws mean it is possible to make excellent coin in Japan but you must live in a city, speak Japanese and know how to teach.
This is a big shock to the hangman and bingo clowns who think being white should ensure big bucks in Asia, most of the Japan section of Daves is full of them and they are screwed long term, they can go to China/Korea and make a healthy living playing hangman but eventually the market there will change and those teachers will end up unemployable and with a ruined work ethic. In many ways the competitive Japanese job market is doing them a favor long term by keeping them on their toes. |

No. He became a Japanese citizen, has two kids there, he can vote, so he wants the country to be better.
His posts are reasonable. |
