| Protecting inefficient commercial ventures with odd government schemes is so DPRK. I thought ROK was above such measures. It sickens me. Small business can and do compete. The organic healthy coop store near my house is jam pack all the time and charges membership fees that make costco look like a deal. The dirty shop that keeps vegetables on the floor and has guy yelling on microphone and discounts for rotten vegetables is empty. E mart is closed due to government restrictions. |

Sometimes on Sundays, I use supermarkets in department stores too (like Shinsegae, Lotte, Hyundae).
Might be a bit more pricey than E-mart, but worth for shopping some small amount of product with good quality. (There is open 365 days a year) |
