http://www.pattayaone.net/pattaya-news/176227/korean-knocked-out-in-fight-with-motorbike-taxi-driver-in-central-pattaya/

Korean was obviously sloshed out of his brain but on numerous occasions, tried to attack the taxi driver. Getting ripped off is annoying but then, could this be the result of adjosshi behaviour?

I've never met (or myself hit) a Korean who was knocked on their ass who didn't thoroughly deserve it. This story from Pattaya is interesting in that usually those Thai motorcycle taxi guys fight 20-1, not 1 on 1 as happened here. They must have made the guy as a weak, lily-livered nookie boy even before the SHTF.

Sounds like the circumstances are irrelevant here. Just a lot of smug satisfaction that a Korean got beaten up.

From what I can gather, the [racism against Koreans] was being a complete [evading the swear filter] and he kind of brought it upon himself. I hope he got up and came to his senses, then offered the apologies that were owed.

You know full-well what the TOS is. Follow it. - The Mod Team.

What did I say that was racist? Also, is 'bastard' really too strong for adults?

He deserves to lose for those pathetic kicks in the land of Muay Thai. What did he expect?

At least he paid the bill.

Must be a shock for ajosshis to realize that in the real world people will actually hit you if you mess with them.

It's really hard to decide which language is more annoying, Thai or Vietnamese. The Thais end a lot of sentences with krab or whatever which sounds like 'craaaap' to me, so they get a bonus for that, making Vietnamese the worst language in the world to have to listen to for any amount of time.

^ Different strokes for different folks, then. I went through Defense Language Institute's Vietnamese (Hanoi) course with a follow-on course for Vietnamese (Saigon). I liked the sound of both dialects.

For Thai, many sentences end in either /ka/ or /krap/, the /a/ sounding more like the /a/ in "father" than the /a/ in "crap".

It's strange how certain languages and accents can be annoying or unpleasant to our ears. For me, Scouse Liverpool and South African accents are a bit grating for some reason, and I find German hard to listen to.

Me personally, it's Chinese. I can't stand it.
