Yup, Blackberry was a hit her before smartphones dominated. They were even copied with LG's "Blackjack".

...and oh yeah, when I smoked, they should have brought Player's over here. Especially Player's Smooth. Those things inhaled just fine. Korean and American cigs were awful. They'd clog the throat, you'd flem up, and eventually gag. Not sure what kind of filters or how old their tobacco was - just awful. Don't know why Canadians don't export those too. Anyhew, Japanese brand Mevius one LSS seems ok.

Not that I'm telling anyone to take up smoking. Just the way she be.

Blackberry was a One Hit Wonder in Korea.

Except for Canada Goose Parkas, Canadian products fizzle fast in Korea.

Koreans like the high name brand products from Germany, England, Italy, USA, Swiss.

Once, I asked a Korean about this. He told me that Korean people think of Canadian products as the China of North America.

That's why they purchase Canadian nuclear reactors, airplanes and trains.Rolling Eyes Four Seasons hotels are coming this year. New York Fries and Boston Pizza are here. You've already mentioned Canada Goose. There's an Imax theater within a few blocks of my apartment. Would you happen to be a slow learner? Or do you just have a chip on your shoulder about Canada?

Just having a bit of fun on the topic, but still being honest. I like Canada.

Where is Boston Pizza located? Is there more than one?

I'm Canadian, but that "China of North America" comment made me literally lol.

In Korean bars when the locals want to drink liquor they are as likely to reach for Crown Royal (and to a lesser extent Canada Club) as anything else. The mix inevitably used for most mixed drinks? Canada Dry.

Canada-bashing fail.

Can't you canucks name your fast food chains after your own cities? Gotta appropriate lovely cosmopolitan Boston - a city known far and wide for its style of pizza.

Can't Yanks name their cities by themselves? Boston and New York are named after British cities and towns. Oh yeah, and they're both situated in "New England". And while you're at it, can't you get your own language? You're not exactly here teaching 'American.' And quit appropriating other peoples' cultural products ...St. Patricks Day, Halloween, etc.

You can send a text to the American president about this. He'll get it on his Blackberry. Very Happy

Wow, leave for a week and everything gets sidetracked. Which is cool. I don't have a problem with it but I honestly would like to know if this placed opened. So, if you're in the neighborhood let me know.

"Brantford Fries"
"Edmonton Pizza"

Lol, nah.

For some reason, some things with Canadian names just don't work. Think of movies with the name "American", and switch them. Canadian Gangster. Canadian History X. Canadian Psycho. A Canadian Werewolf in London.

I would totally go see Canadian Gangster if it had Dan Akroyd in it.
