Steelrails,

Given your track record of posts, your post about Jerry Lawler's legitimate heart attack is pretty insensitive. The man nearly died.

Maybe all those posters who call you a hypocrite have a point.

Lighten up Francis. We saw WWF in the title and wanted to make a bunch of wrestling references regarding various mishaps that have occurred live.

Heck, someone mentioned Owen Hart's death and posted a video, go scream at them. And if you think I was referencing that with my 1st post, you clearly have no idea. Anyone who knows wrestling can tell what I was referencing simply by looking at my avatar. Heck, I don't even know wrestling that well.

I've got two words for you- Mellow out man.

I have been a fan for most of my life and still to this day have not watched Owen Hart fall to his death. Probably never will.

That poster was not making light of it. You were. Why not take responsibility for your callous post?

Next time you care about something, I will be the first to tell you to 'lighten up.'

I think he was joking. After all, the thread was about some forum on water. By making any association with the dual nature of the 'WWF' title and linking it to wrestling, you are making a joke.

If you are genuinely hurt by my referencing Jerry Lawler's heart attack, I am sorry. On the other hand, if you are just busting my balls over this because you have some sort of grudge against me on Dave's, then piss off and let us go back to our fun.

This is pro wrestling, not an ethnicity or religion. Pro wrestling. A venue that gives us Vince McMahon getting blown up in a limo, characters based off of crude ethnic stereotypes, guys named Balls Mahoney, guys coming out to songs like "I'm an Ass Man", coffin matches, and all the other antics that have happened over the years.

Its wrestling man. Wrestling. I'm talking bout Wrestling. Wrestling. We're not talking about culture, we're talking bout wrestling. WRESTLING.

Any apology laden with the word 'if' is insincere. You can take your apology and stuff it up your rectum.

I have no issue with you on this board outside of this thread. I noticed many others do, however.

Make fun of the exploding limo, the Shockmaster incident, etc. Not legitimate tragedies. That was the point of my post.

I don't know what all you people are talking about. The World Wildlife Fund is one of my favorite organizations.

A grisly bear would maul the crap out of the undertaker any day.

As opposed to your "outrage" which was sincere?

Jerry Lawler recovered and is fine. Would I make the same joke about say, Fabrice Muamba or Jiri Fischer? No. We're dealing with pro wrestling here though. An industry that is known for ridiculous story lines, bad taste in nearly everything it does, and an owner who has a bit of a controlling history and a "show must go on" attitude.

Anyways, I half mentioned it because the Opie and Anthony radio show did a memorable 20 minute bit where they went into the whole Jerry Lawler incident and were making jokes about the whole thing. Many, many wrestlers and also Jim Ross have visited the show before and after the incident. None of them had a problem. If Jim Ross didn't have a problem with people making jokes, I don't think you should.

For effs sake, WWE had CM Punk pretending to pour out Paul Bearer's ashes on the Undertaker and exploited Eddie Guerrero's death.

Anyways, enough of you. Back to the jokes.

Pretty sure The Undertaker would have the sense to take a shotgun with him to a fight against a grisly; unlike the grisly. UNDERTAKER WINS AGAIN!!!!
