The Domino's Pizza did not assist Benaddi when she returned, they did not offer to make her a new pizza or offer her a refund. Instead, the cashier laughed at her and mocked her limited English proficiency.
Then, in what could only be described as a brazen discriminatory act, the Domino's Pizza management called local police claiming that Benaddi had threatened to blow up the location resulting in Benaddi's arrest.
Benaddi was in custody for over 24 hours before she was released. She was also forced to remove her headscarf before her booking image was taken.
CAIR Florida's investigator revealed that eyewitness accounts were consistent with that of Benaddi's and admitting that Benaddi never made any threats other than to file a complaint. The story the Domino's Pizza's manager provided to the police was completely, intentionally and maliciously fabricated.
Although the felony charge against Hakima was dropped before the arraignment, Domino's Pizza has yet to confirm any wrongdoing. |

That is terrible. Its almost as if people feel comfortable blaming muslims for widespread slaughter and slavery against every other group on earth or something. Weird eh? |

Sometimes they make me remove my balaclava prior to taking the mugshots. Oh, the humanity.
Without reference to any other issue addressed in this article, if you are having a mugshot taken, then your features should not be obscured. |

A pregnant woman wearing a headscarf complains about the quality of her pizza. In return, the Dominoes outlet calls the police and falsely claimed she had threatened to blow up the establishment (eyewitnesses supported her position and denied that she ever made any threats).
She should never have had a mugshot taken, nor should she have been in custody for 24 hours, because she did nothing wrong. |

If she didn't like the pizza, she should take her business elsewhere. |

If any of this is remotely true, she is soon going to be a limited English proficiency rich chick. |

This doesn't surprise me, people working in pizza can be a bit...testy. Lots of stores tend to adopt an "us vs. them" mentality and can encourage some rather anti-social behavior. On the flip side it can be like a working house party mixed with a mild version of some sort of a hard drinkin and smokin road warrior pizza outfit. Regardless, pizza tends to not draw the best elements of society. "Will you sign my AA sheet?" was a common phrase heard throughout my time in pizza.
Anyways, my town was rather liberal, and as I have mentioned in other posts was located not far from the main mosque in town, so we'd get a fair number of Muslim customers. There were frequent requests for a clean cut pizza or uncut pizza. Some employees reacted rather negatively to this. I did not. Regardless, if one doesn't have a manager whose sympathetic to Islamic dietary requests, you might get this kind of thing.

She had been ordering from there regularly and got a severely undertopped pie. She has every right to call in and complain. Take a photo and send it to corporate. Corporate has standards regarding pizza toppings and if a customer gets one that is not served up to snuff, they should be able to get a full refund and compensation.
When I first saw Davenport, I thought she was in Iowa (actually Florida) and thus might be used to getting a Quad-City style pizza. I've never had one, but they sound alright. At least better than their insipid cousin, the St. Louis style pizza. |

This is evil. Please throw the book at them, and spank Dominoes Pizza for good measure. |

Do have any proof that she didn't? And if she didn't like the pizza she got, she should go elsewhere. I'm 100% sure that there are much better pizza places than that corporate crap. It's as easy as that. |

The onus of proof is not on her. She is innocent until proven guilty.

Yes, because shes a Muslim-American she must go around making bomb threats. Certainly it cant be that a bunch of $8 an hour 20 year olds made up some nonsense and treated her like crap.
If there was any credibility to this threat the FBI would have been all over her.
And if she orders the same pizza as someone else but gets it undertopped, she has every right to complain. The employees who did that are in violation of company regulations and quite possibly the law if they did so based on her religion. This wasnt a "bad" pizza. It was a product deliberately prepared in a manner different to every other paying customer who orders the same food. |
