this aint a weed legalization debate thread it's about expats who have been locked up, second given that in Korea it's illegal to have smoked any amount of weed and you will likely be jailed then deported for this while the rest of the foreign English teachers are tested for weed every other week because of some moron doing this likely make a post like this a violation of the tos.

and oh yeah the odds of Korea legalizing weed are about the same as me having a threesome with Jennifer Aniston and Scarlett Johansen so lets move on

That would be a great threesome but I would trade Aniston for Jennifer Lawrence.

How is the marijuana stuff salient to this thread?

Just trying to help the overweight alcoholic cigarette smokers (of whom there are many).

Okay, but your attempts to squeeze a marijuana debate into every discussion possible is both tiring and seemingly flies in the face of your deep-seated concerns for the health of the EFL industry in Korea.

Every debate possible? Yeah right. Listening to you is tiresome because you criticize/complain about others in a way that lacks new information/insight. Try to be more interesting and insightful next time.

I'm not going to pretend cigarettes and alcohol are healthier than marijuana when they are not.

IF people around the world figure that out (and they are slowly catching on), there won't be extra background checks/drugs tests/vetting/paranoia about Western English teachers. So conversations like this actually help the EFL industry. No need to censure them / try to shut them down.

And I don't think you're going to find a lot of arguments there. Certainly not from this corner. But you're crazy if you think that you posting pro-legalization articles in any tangentially related thread is going to move the needle in terms of legalization in Korea. The vast majority of foreign teachers are already convinced that weed is harmless, and even if they could find it in Korea, the punishments are way too harsh to justify any dabbling.

Speak of the devil! How's the Thailand? Missing Korea and the dog-kicking assholes? Very Happy

The Korean dog-kicking assholes are better than this bloke who killed a dog in Thailand and had the utter gall to post about it on his blog as if it is just one of those things you do when a dog is bothering you from behind a fence. May you sink deeper in shit David as your karma, and end up in a Bangkok prison.
