Am I alone in thinking it is absolutely criminal that the two boxers took home tens of millions of dollars for that fight today? For thirty-six minutes of dancing around in a ring, Mayweather took home $180,000,000. Stop and think about that. Pacquiao took home at least $100,000,000. In what universe is this considered reasonable? In what moral economic system is this considered defensible? In a world of starving people, unemployment, illness, natural disasters, and an endless host of other ills, how can such an allocation of funds be justified? Let's hope their respective governments tax the hell out of their ill-gotten earnings.
