Fat-bottomed girls make the rockin' world go round.

And now welcome.... the Ajumma Obesity!!!

I've said it before, but it bears repeating:
Thin is in,
But fat's where it's at!

I think it's also the overpriced vegetables and fruit that they sell here. I really don't see how you are supposed to eat healthy everyday when I walk into a Lotte or Emart and buy 4 produce items that total 30 ~ 40,000W. Seriously, everything here is at least twice as expensive as back in the States. The reason seems to be that it's expensive just to be expensive. 3 국내산 apples were 10,000!!

Stop buying apples that cost so much. The NH mart near me has local apples for 990-1990.

A buck to a buck and a half for an apple ain't exactly a bargain. What's a hamburger going for these days?

Sugar is definitely one of the culprits.

Go into any bakery. I think they use more sugar than flour in bakeries.

I think so too. When I stopped eating bread about 18 months ago because of a gluten intolerance issue, I lost weight and now it's really hard to get enough calories. Just yesterday, my doctor said I need to go from 72 kg to 77 to be at the right weight. I was eating a lot of ice cream yesterday because there's no way I can get enough calories from pineapples, meat, salads, etc.

I also think alcoholic beverages are putting the pounds on adults.

If you want to lose weight and keep it off, simply cut out grains. I can assure you that if you cut out breads, cereals, pasta, beer, pizza, and anything else with grains for three months you will lose a significant amount of weight. You can still drink alcohol (whiskey and wine, for example, are not made from grains). 10-20 pounds in three months is guaranteed. And that's without exercising.

I thought cutting out wheat would be too difficult, but it was a breeze. Losing weight is not difficult. 'Big Food' wants you to think it is, and to give up on the idea and just accept being fat. Because that's where their money is. But all it takes is a bit of self control.

Of course I didn't buy those because that's ridiculous, but those apples were the only choice at the time in that store.

American fast food. Look at any photo of your grandparent's generation. Not many fat people, even among the middle classes. Today obesity is everywhere. But nah, let's open up some more fast food chains in Korea. Let's take one of the slimmest demographics on the planet and make their kids obese. Confused

Having them go back to the fields won't do much good if they're having Lotteria or KFC at lunch break.

Grandparents generation use to smoke more. Suppressed appetite.

Cereal and bread's a tough one. But bread and Korean brand cereals are just crammed with sugar. What's with that?
