Hey Greatunknown, I'm actually going with a lot of the IFX people this
year. You may know some of them. We will have a BIG gazebo tent
behind the stage on the beach. We will also be BBQing. If you want,
or if it rains, come on over. The more the merrier.

I camp on the beach, but my wife insists on a minbak. The minbak guy
actually called my wife this year to see if we were coming. Apparently
the Sewol disaster has hit them pretty hard.

Also, I don't know what the guys above are talking about. I, for one,
clean up where I have been camping extremely well. Not even a Korean's
cigarette but remains.

I predict about 20-25 people in our group. (plus kids!) So, like I said
above, look for the gazebo behind the stage. You're more than welcome.

Wouldn't a beach be one of the safest places to have an open fire? Lots of water and sand. Or am I missing something here?

I think it's more about the resulting debris and of course the, shall we say, characteristics of the crowd around the open flames.

I'm assuming friendly dogs are welcome here. ?

Also, do you recommend trying to book a minbak in advance or should it be fairly easy to get one once there? If the former, care to message me the aforementioned minbak guy's number? Thanks in advance!

This guy has a pretty cool minbak. He also has a bar, pizza oven and
BBQing facilities. More importantly he also speaks fluent English.
