This has been bandied about on waygook.org for a while now and it seems that some sensationalist site or two tacked on the "only" part of the description of each area. They're not the foreigner-"only" or Chinese-"only" or kids-"only" areas. They're places designated for exhibitions or activities for and by each group. What, are they going to ban parents from being with their kids? |

Like some of the people in the comments said, "Why didn't they just name it the parasol free zone?" Why did it have to be called "foreigner friendly zone?" |

Well, look at it the other way around: expat Koreans would love it if Western countries would give them their own specialized spaces. |

It is kind of interesting to think about it that way. |
