No, my point is that Korea is a sane enough country where just because someone's face is covered, doesn't cause one to leap to the conclusion that a crime is about to be committed, not that there is no crime.

The insane place is the one where people see someone with a covered face and assume a crime is about to occur, not say as protection against the sun. That implies a certain societal breakdown.

Bollocks! Koreans get as nervous as any nationality when someone is completely hiding their face. Men wearing baseball caps, sunglasses, and pollution masks arise suspicion among Koreans. You know that's a fact but your delusions keep you posting lies.

Better go run to the mods, because it looks like I just kicked your arse again.

I for one cannot understand why grown men are arguing on the Internet about what old women wear.

What's even worse is guys who laugh at that stuff and young girls doing it too and not realizing the connection between sun and skin aging. These are the same kind of guys who laugh at Korean girls for always doing their makeup, but will drool over them 2 hours later in the club. Do they not realize that one is connected to the other?

You are merely supporting the superficiality of much of Korean culture.

Your assumptions regarding me are wrong. I'm not into women who look completely different in the morning or who have been transformed by plastic surgery.

The shallowness of Korean thought and culture is what is connected to the fear of the sun that Koreans exhibit.

What about you? Do you fight others over the shade on the sidewalk? Do you spend a considerable sum on sunscreen, ointments, creams. and makeup all the while turning a blind eye to the needy around you?

The sun and skin aging is not why Koreans hide from the sun. It's because they don't want to be considered low class. It has nothing whatsoever to do with health.

Spin another lie, herr goebbels.

So...you're claiming that Koreans suspect those ajummas who are wearing the Vader masks are about to commit crimes?

As far as the guys who are covered in caps, sunglasses, and masks, they also take in the rest of their dress. A guy in a baseball cap and sunglasses and at Jamsil stadium is not going to arouse suspicion. An office worker with a pollution mask is not going to arouse suspicion. Some Korean guy with sunglasses, a hat, and a mask lurking somewhere or near a protest area obviously might.

But we were talking about women with face coverings, not sleazy dudes outside the girls high school or some protest rally. Context. Context.

Also, I have submitted no reports or PMs to the mods over any of this or any other recent thread. I DID report atwood like a year or so ago over constantly referring to me as Josef Goebbels/Herman Goering which is pretty ridiculous. The mods didn't do anything about it then and since then I just ignored it and even mentioned ignoring it and no longer caring in another thread a few months ago.

Leave Steelrails alone! We in the apologist brotherhood have always suspected that you were all crazy but your association of masked people with robbers and not, in fact, people who are innocently strolling in the park and hiding their faces from the sun confirms our suspicions. You are ALL insane!!
