They will lose 10% of their crop and jack prices 20%. Korea gouging at its finest.

You should probably stick to your day job if you think that a 10% crop loss should automatically equal a 10% pay increase.

It should lead to no increase. Those are the risks one takes when working in the agriculture business.

Do you work for the oil companies, by any chance? Where oil goes down a dollar and gas goes up 5 cents a litre.

and here I was loving this year's weather. No nice and not humid and mixed with muggy rain. Just hot and dry. Makes the lack of air con at my school more tolerable and makes going outdoors except for a couple of hours in the afternoon more tolerable.

Well, SK will survive. But, if it puts more pressure on NK, good for it.

we've been in a drought here in central texas for around 10 years (not as bad as Calif) and you don't want to get it broken like we did last month. Historic rainfall (around 6 months of rain in 3 weeks), lakes rose 40 feet in 3 weeks, then on Memorial Day weekend, historic floods. around 30 people killed here in the floods and we have some top of line flood warning apparatus can't imagine what would happen there if you got this much the death toll would be incredible
