iHerb lists banned supplements (for Korean destinations) made with bovine derived gelatin, making it difficult (if not impossible) to order any liquid based supplements that are gelatin encapsulated. Look for supplements that have vegetable or fish based gelatin - mostly dried powder forms. Several of my usual supplements (i.e., Gamma E, ubiquitol, and Omega 3) from iHerb have been banned recently - really frustrating; I wonder if it's a leftover piece of legislation from concerns related to Mad Cow disease. Supplement prices are ridiculous in Korea which is why the gov't is getting stricter - to keep out reasonable alternatives.

For some reason, I can't order Carlson's fish oil. I don't really understand that. I also looked at another brand (Now). It's also banned. What gives?
